 Grandma Honey's Pantry Local Food from Local Farms - FRESH ! In 2006 Joyce Long (aka Grandma Honey) opened her farm stand at the Archwood Green Barns Farmers Market in The Plains, Virginia. With the open of the market, fresh vegetables and fruits, baked goods, canned goods, free range eggs & poultry, and plants were offered for sale. Now three years later, Grandma Honey's Pantry has grown to include over 100 different products. Some of these include: - 100% organic milk, yogurt, butter, and cream from Jersey cows fed only plant proteins, no antibiotics, pesticide free, herbicide free
- soft goat cheese, from a certified plant, from goats fed only plant proteins, and no antibiotics, pesticide free, herbicide free
- produce, fresh, organically raised, seasonal, including: apples, beans, beets, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, celery, onion, herbs, lettuce, peas, peppers, radishes, spinach, strawberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, turnips, squashes, and more!
- slow roasted homemade baked beans, homemade, takes 24 hours to make these!

- chicken salad, made from free range chickens, who are fed only plant proteins, and the chickens are pesticide and herbicide free

If there is a product that you would like, but don't see, please ask. *Many local producers specialize in one item, such as beef or lettuce. Since the Archwood Farmers Market is only open on Sundays, some producers have asked us to sell their product for them on a consignment ONLY basis. We do NOT purchase product from other producers and RESELL their product! To determine which producers we would like to represent, in addition to our OWN PRODUCTS, farm inspections are done and many conversations with the producers take place. Please read the "Farming Practices" web page to see some of the criteria we use in determining which producers we wish to represent.
